a christmas tradition

There are somethings that immediately let us know is the holiday season without having to look at a calendar, the chillier weather, the smell of pine tree and for this mom of four the aroma of warm sugar and vanilla and tiny hands dusted with flour. Neram is an amazing mom of 4 living in Colombia my home country. Even though she didn’t get to go back to Germany (her home country) for the holidays she keeps alive her family traditions and makes sure her kids are connected to their roots. We decided I would join them on a cookie making session using Neram’s grandmother’s cookie recipe; It was a joy to capture all the beautiful chaos, sprinkles and all. During this session we didn’t just get to capture some beautiful images but made some amazing Christmas memories along the way.
